Japan Sewing Machinery Manufacturer’s Association

Japan Sewing Machinery Manufacturers Association (JASMA) plans and promotes research and projects concerning the production and distribution of, as well as the promoting of standardization of household sewing machines, industrial sewing machines, components and other equipment related to sewing (such as cutters, presses etc). JASMA aims to achieve the overall development of the sewing machinery industry, and thereby contribute to the improvement of the life of the people. Primary activities include:-

•  planning and promoting research and projects
•  development of human resources
•  international exchange and cooperation
•  promotion of protection of intellectual properties
